Heisman finalist would vote for Deshaun Watson

by - Assoc. Editor -

Heisman Trophy finalist and Michigan defender Jabrill Peppers is one of the elite players in College Football and he told the Dan Patrick Show on Thursday that he would vote for Deshaun Watson for Heisman if he had a vote.

"Since [Watson] won that game [against Louisville], I would probably give him my vote," Peppers said to Patrick. "Whenever you have two Heisman finalists facing one another -- it was a very, very good game -- but at the end of the day, Deshaun Watson still came away with the victory. That's who I'd definitely give my vote to, even though you can't knock what Lamar Jackson has done."

You have to give lots of respect to Peppers for saying that he doesn't deserve the Heisman Trophy Award compared to Watson.

Peppers has 66 tackles including 13 for loss, three sacks, and an interception on defense. He also has 27 rushes for 167 yards, 21 punt returns for 310 yards, and ten kickoff returns for 260 yards.
