Georgia St head coach makes NIT prediction for Tigers

by - Assoc. Editor -

Georgia State head coach Ron Hunter was impressed with Clemson after his team lost 78-66 to the Tigers in the opening round of the NIT on Tuesday night. He even made a prediction on how far he thought Clemson would go in the tournament.

"I’d be shocked to see Clemson not in the finals," Hunter said after the game. "Clemson’s a very good team and it’s going to be hard to beat them, especially if they’re playing here."

Georgia State was the Sun Belt regular season champions and ends its season with a 25-9 record.
