Former NFL standout picks Clemson to win it all

by - Assoc. Editor -

Most national preseason polls and media pundits have Clemson in the upper echelon of contenders for the 2016 National Championship.

Add another one to the list as former NFL standout and one-time Georgia Bulldog running back Hershel Walker predicted that Clemson will win it all this upcoming football season.

"Alabama will be “strong,” but picked Clemson, led by junior quarterback Deshaun Watson — who was third in Heisman voting last year — to win it all," SportingNews.com said about Walker's selection.

Walker's combined rushing years for the USFL and the NFL (13,787 yards) would place him 5th all-time on the NFL's career rushing list.
