Former Clemson shooting guard Shawan Robinson will be the new boys head basketball coach at Panther Creek according to the school officials. Panther Creek High School is located in Cary, North Carolina.

The school sent out a press release stating “Shawan Robinson is a perfect fit at Panther Creek. He holds student-athletes to a high standard academically and from a character standpoint. He is a strong relationship builder. He has a passion for teaching the game. We are fortunate at Panther Creek to have coach Robinson leading our men’s basketball program.”

Previously, Robinson had taught healthful living at the school and was an assistant coach for the basketball program.

At Clemson, he scored 1,176 points and had a 91.3% free throw shooting which is still 4th best in ACC history. Also, he was a four-time All-ACC academic selection.
