was waived by the Colts over the weekend. The Colts claimed A.Q Shipley off waivers from the Ravens and then decided to make room for him by letting go of Austin.

Austin was signed by the Colts last year and appeared in one game. For his career, he has played in eight total games (4 total with the Panthers and a start). He also has spent time with the Vikings, Patriots and Texans.

He was a two-time All-ACC selection over his Clemson career and also a third team Sporting News All-American in 2009.
