The Tennessee Titans announced on Thursday afternoon that former Clemson defensive end Kevin Dodd had preventative foot surgery on Thursday.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the surgery was to insert a screw in his foot after finding a stress fracture in rookie camp.

He will miss OTAs but they plan on having him back for training camp.

Several former Tigers have had offseason surgeries including Sammy Watkins, Shaq Lawson and now Kevin Dodd.

Dodd had a breakout 2015 season at Clemson with 62 tackles, 12 sacks and 23.5 tackles for loss (second in the nation behind Shaq Lawson).

He was selected in the second round with the 33rd overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
