has been waived by the Carolina Panthers on Thursday as announced by team officials.

Peters had been limited in practice with a lingering hamstring injury.

Panthers' training camp starts on Friday.

In 2014, Peters had a stellar senior season at Clemson with 52 tackles, eight tackles for loss, two sacks, two quarterback pressures, one interception for 12 yards, a team-high 15 pass breakups and one caused fumble.
