has been signed by the Tampa Bay Buccanneers to their active roster according to multiple sources. The Bucs needed another defensive back after injuries to Mike Jenkins and Rashaan Melvin.

Butler has played for the following NFL teams: San Diego, Pittsburgh, Arizona, Washington and Buffalo. The Steelers drafted him in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL draft.
