He has 24 career tackles and two forced fumbles while playing for seven different NFL teams including Pittsburgh (2010), Arizona (2011), Washington (2011-2012), Buffalo (2012-2013), San Diego (2013), Tampa Bay (2014), and Detroit (2015-2016). He has appeared in two playoff games with the Chargers in 2013.

He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fifth round (#164 overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft. At Clemson, he finished his collegiate career with 166 tackles, two sacks, and eleven interceptions.
