Ed Scott named 2017 ACC Legend

CLEMSON, S.C. — Edward Scott has been named Clemson’s 2017 ACC Men’s Basketball Legend, the conference office announced Wednesday. Scott will be honored along with 14 other players and a head coach at the New York Life ACC Tournament, which will be held March 7-11 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Scott earned a pair of all-conference accolades as a Tiger from 1999-03, including first-team recognition as a senior. He was named to the 100th Anniversary Team in 2012, and to the Clemson Hall of Fame in 2014. Scott still ranks second in Clemson history with 595 career assists. He led the ACC and was third nationally with 7.9 assists per game as a junior in 2001-02. Scott compiled 1,226 points over his career as well.

He will be joined by the following members of the 2017 ACC Legends class:
