Stadiumjourney.com has released their
2015 NCAA Ballpark Experience Rankings on Monday.
The website reviewed 285 NCAA ballparks and rated overall fan experience in several categories including food, atmosphere, neighborhood, fans, access, return on investment and extras. Doug Kingsmore stadium was ranked #10 out of all of the NCAA ballparks reviewed. ACC schools Georgia Tech (#5), Virginia Tech (#6) and Florida State (#8) all had Top 10 ballparks. "The home of the Tigers, Doug Kingsmore Stadium, has been the domain of the home nine for greater than 40 years," Stadiumjourney.com said. "This slightly greater than 6,000-seat facility gives the Tigers a tremendous home-field advantage -- they've won nearly 80 percent of their games played there since first opening the gates -- and seamlessly blends into a top-flight grouping of facilities on the 17,000-plus acre campus. This stadium doesn't show its age, but it does show its tradition. From your first step into the ballpark to the final words to the alma mater, it is clear that you are part of something special when witnessing Clemson baseball." Doug Kingsmore Rankings (1 to 5 stars) on different categories: Food and Beverage - 4 stars Atmosphere - 5 stars Neighborhood - 5 stars Fans - 4 stars Access - 5 stars Return on Investment - 3 stars Extras - 5 stars
