and Florida State’s Boomer Biegalski garnered Co-Pitcher of the Week accolades.

Collins powered Miami to a series sweep of Pittsburgh, totaling nine RBIs over three games with three home runs. His only hit in the first game of the Saturday doubleheader was an eighth-inning leadoff triple that proved to be the tying run, while he connected on a grand slam and had five RBIs in Game 2 – his best output of the season. A sophomore from Pembroke Pines, Florida, Collins ended the weekend in prolific fashion, recording the third multi-home run performance of his career with two homers and four RBIs.

Crownover picked up another win in Clemson’s 9-1 victory over No. 3 Louisville on Saturday. In 7.0 innings pitched, he allowed just five hits (all singles) and one run with four strikeouts. On the season, the junior from Ringgold, Georgia, is 8-1 with a 1.22 ERA and .182 opponents’ batting average, along with 78 strikeouts against 29 walks in 81.0 innings pitched over 12 starts.

Biegalski flirted with a no-hitter to open the weekend series against No. 23 Coastal Carolina. The sophomore from Tallahassee, Florida, held the Chanticleers without a hit for the first six innings. After walking the bases loaded in the first, Biegalski retired 16 of the next 17 batters that he faced before giving up the lone hit he would issue in 7.0 innings of work on a solo home run to open the top of the seventh. After giving up the home run, Biegalski struck out the side in the seventh and finished the outing with a career-high 12 strikeouts. It marked the most strikeouts by a Seminole pitcher since Luke Weaver struck out 14 against Troy in the 2013 NCAA Regional on June 1, 2013.
