47 Coastal Carolina students and 11 staff members traveled to Clemson University on Wednesday night to travel away from the path of Hurrican Matthew.
Congrats on Clemson for helping out their fellow in-state school in a time of need. Hurricane Matthew is currently battering the Bahamas and is expected to be a Category 4 hurricane on the Florida East Coast on Thursday night.
Over two million people from Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina have headed for safer ground.
"There is a danger of life-threatening inundation during the next 36 hours along the Florida east coast and Georgia coast," the National Hurricane Center said in a 5 a.m. ET advisory.
We are very appreciative of your university. Thank you for helping us in our time of need. #CCU #Thanks https://t.co/oEg16H42fW
