Clemson students, faculty and alumni are showing their support for the University of South Carolina after the tragic murder-suicide that took place on Thursday afternoon.
Professor Raja Fayad was a victim of an apparent murder-suicide who was a beloved teacher in the Arnold School of Public Health. His research at the University was mainly on gastrointestinal disorders such as Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn's, inflammatory bowel disease and other serious ailments.
Clemson students have been on social media on Thursday and Friday using hashtags #TwoSchoolsOneState and #2Schools1State to show their compassion to their rival in-state school. Others have used Facebook, Yik Yak App and Instagram to show their support.
Many of the Clemson students and faculty have chosen to wear garnet and black on campus instead of their normal Solid Orange on Friday.
