Wyatt performed "I wanna Dance with somebody" as part of the talent portion of the pageant.

She won Miss Clemson this year and was a former Miss South Carolina teen back in 2012.

Four of the last five Miss South Carolina winners have been Clemson students with Ali Rogers, Lanie Hudson, Daja Dial, and now Rachel Wyatt.

The Miss America Pageant will start on September 11 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
