Perfect Game USA's profile of MacGregor:
Travis Macgregor is a 2016 RHP/MIF, 3B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Tarpon Springs, FL who attends East Lake HS. Large, long frame with lean, well-proportioned pitcher's build, projects well physically. Clean arm path, shows looseness and good arm speed through the path. Works to a high three-quarter's arm slot, gets good downhill plane and angle from high slot. Fastball up to 90 mph, offering can be tough pitch to hit, especially down in the strike zone, pitch has quality arm side run. Curveball in the low-70s, offering flashes good depth and 12/6 shape. Has solid feel for changeup, maintains armspeed, deceptive offering with late fading action. Also plays infield, makes the routine plays and shows solid arm strength across the diamond. Right handed hitter, maintains good balance in swing, has an aggressive approach. Very good student. Named to the Showcase Top Prospect List.
