Clemson ranked #1 college football city

Wallethub.com released its latest study that ranks the best and worst cities for sports fans in the United States. The study compared 245 cities, varying from large to small, with over 18 key metrics.

Clemson was ranked the #1 city in the nation for sports fans costs and fan engagement, #2 in the most accessible college stadiums and #1 in the most friendly and engaged college football fans.

Overall, Green Bay, WI, Clemson, SC, and Pittsburgh, PA were ranked the top three cities for sports in the United States. Green Bay (Packers) and Pittsburgh (Steelers) are NFL towns so Clemson was also ranked the #1 overall college football city according to the study.
