ESPN's ACC Upset Watch for Week 12 with its game against Georgia Tech on Saturday. The contest will be shown on 11/15 on ESPN at 12 PM EST.
Vegas odds for the game is 3 points for the Tigers. The Yellow Jackets played N.C. State this past Saturday and won impressively 56-23. They had 479 yards rushing and converted on 80% of their third downs. Georgia Tech is ranked #22 in the AP Poll and 23rd in the Coaches Poll and have won their last three games. The game will be a battle of third downs - Clemson leads the nation in third down % on defense (23%) and Georgia Tech leads the nation in third down conversions on offense (59%).
Georgia Tech has given up chunks of yards but it also has been opportunistic, with 21 total takeaways on the season. The Jackets have scored 101 points off those turnovers, their most since 2000. If the Jackets can control the clock and keep Watson off the field, they will have every opportunity to pull the upset.
