Clemson leads nation in fewest penalties, second in tackles for loss |
According to the stats on the NCAA website Sunday, Clemson is the least penalized team in the country. The Tigers lead the nation in all four penalty categories - Fewest Penalties, Fewest Penalties Per Game, Fewest Penalty Yards, and Fewest Penalty Yards Per Game.
In four games this season, Clemson has 11 penalties for 94 yards (23.50/game). For contrast the last place team, BYU, has 44 penalties for 422 yards (105.50/game). Clemson is also tied for second in the nation in team tackles for a loss at 9.5 per game. Linebacker
