The Tigers are now ranked #1 in total defense in the nation with 252 ypg which is slightly ahead of Wisconsin's 253.8 ypg.

Clemson's stellar defense only gave up 119 total yards (112 passing, 7 rushing) against Wake Forest in a hard fought 34-20 win on Thursday night.

Two other impressive stats include a nation's best third down defensive conversion rate at .232 percentage and a whopping 10.1 tackles for loss per game.
