Clemson fans waving flags on I-85 overpass

Clemson fans have been special this season

Diehard Clemson fans have gathered at the Mauldin Rd. overpass over I-85 to wave Clemson flags and to cheer on their Tigers as the Clemson football team buses will pass through to the Greenville-Spartanburg airport on Friday afternoon.

Clemson will face Alabama in the National Championship game in Glendale, Arizona on Jan. 11 at 8:30 pm EST on ESPN.

The official Clemson Twitter account posted a short clip of the Clemson football team passing their fans on the way to the airport.
