Clemson couple gets married in Death Valley after Palmetto Bowl

by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson fans Justin and Maggie Caldwell from Lyman, SC got hitched moments after the end of the Palmetto Bowl on Saturday.

The happy couple after watching their Tigers dismantle the Gamecocks 35-17, took their vows and exchanged rings on the 50-yard line on the Paw in Death Valley. They were married by their friend and notary Harriet Hobbs.

The couple first met at the 2011 ACC Championship game and have been in a relationship ever since.

TigerNet spoke with Justin and Maggie and they talked about their rationale of getting married after this year's Clemson-South Carolina game.

"December 3rd will mark three years together and we just knew that this would be the year Clemson ends the five year curse and we wanted to make this win even more special," Caldwells said. "It was our Tigers that brought us together and there was no better way for us to get married then in the place that we love surrounded by family friends and Tiger nation! It is a memory that we will always cherish and will be a memory passed down from generation to generation."

They ask if anyone has pictures or videos that were near them while they were getting married, please send to maggie.dorrion@yahoo.com.

Congratulations to the fun couple and hope that they have a wonderful life together!
