Clemson Wins its Second Title as The South’s Best Tailgate |
Southern Living announced that Clemson University has once again this year won the The South's Best Tailgate Award.
Congratulations to all that voted and helped Clemson win this award. The two-time winning Clemson Tigers attacked the polls with the same enthusiasm seen on game day outside of Memorial Stadium. With purple and orange cladded fans tailgating before, during, and after the game, players and coaches running down the hill into Death Valley (rubbing Howard’s Rock, of course), and spirited spectators crooning the “Tiger Rag”, Clemson fans know how to host a Saturday game day, on and off the field. Clemson University has tackled another Southern Living title, winning our second annual The South’s Best Tailgate (again)! From August 15 to September 30, more than 424,000 votes were cast for our list of Top 15 Tailgate Schools. LSU caught 3rd place while Oklahoma State University intercepted 2nd place.
