Clemson-Syracuse Ticket Sales
Joe Giansante, the chief communication officer for Syracuse's athletic department said that sales for the Clemson-Syracuse game were going well.
However, he did not want to speculate on whether the game would be close to a sell-out.
Giansante said he expects a good-sized Clemson contingent and that the Tigers sold about 2,700 of their 3,000 allotted tickets. He said he also expected that a significant number of Clemson fans bought tickets on the internet rather than buying them through the school.
While their presence will be obvious, the thought that Clemson will arrive in Syracuse like a barbarian horde, eating Dinosaur Bar-B-Que out of business, drinking the city's beer supply and turning the Dome into a neutral venue sound overblown.
