ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. has released his 2016 NFL Mock Draft 3.0 on Tuesday morning and defensive end Shaq Lawson was projected to the New York Giants at the #10th selection.

"Even if Jason Pierre-Paul were to return, the Giants would be wise to add pass-rushing talent, and Lawson is a good fit here. Like JPP, he's also underrated as a complete defensive end in that he's good against the run."

Lawson finished the season with 86 tackles, 25.5 tackles for loss (led the nation), 12.5 sacks and 15 quarterback hurries.

Clemson defenders Kevin Dodd and Mackensie Alexander were dropped from the first round projections after being selected in Kiper's NFL Mock Draft 2.0. Both players will have an opportunity make a statement with Clemson's Pro Day on Thursday.
