, who captured individual region championships in the 100 meters (11.25), 200 meters (22.70) and 4x100 relay event.

Peake, a Clemson football signee, joined the track team less than a month ago and said he was happy to contribute to the region championship.

“It feels good to be active again and out here running,” he said. “I’ve wanted to do track and never did because I’ve been working out. I figured it was my senior year and went for it. I’m here to help, but even without me the team could still be the best in the region.”
