Gage Cervenka spoke to the media Monday after he more than held his own during his first career start in the 59-10 blowout win against Florida State.
Cervenka was asked about Trevor Lawrence and he said he has been impressed by the freshman quarterback's day-to-day humility. "Every since he got here, his demeanor, how he is, he is a very humble kid," Cervenka said. "He is very respectful. He didn't come in with a mantra of 'Oh I was a great player in high school, I'm going to run this'. He is just very humble. He is a servant leader. He is a really great kid. He earned my respect from day one how he carries himself."
