and Florida State quarterback EJ Manuel were selected Wednesday as players to watch for the Walter Camp Award, given annually to the best player in college football.

The 15-player watch list includes nine quarterbacks, three running backs, two defensive players and one receiver. A list of five finalists will be announced Nov. 28, and the award will be presented Dec. 6.

Boyd has accounted for 3,304 yards of total offense and 33 touchdowns (28 passing, 5 rushing) for the No. 11 Tigers. Manuel has passed for 2,641 yards and 19 touchdowns for the No. 10 Seminoles.
