The Anniston High product and Clemson offensive lineman has been in Anniston, working out twice daily. The soon-to-be senior’s morning workouts at Anniston High and night workouts at Anniston Family Fitness are all about the future, immediate and beyond.

“We want to win a national championship or at least play in a BCS (Bowl Championship Series) bowl,” he said.

And then McClain hopes to make a living at football, and his outlook is promising. Early 2012 projections have him ranked from No. 7 to 11 among draft-eligible offensive guards.
