Andre Ellington injury update |
Former Clemson running back
Andre Ellington
Andre Ellington Ellington had 12 carries for 69 yards and one catch for seven yards before leaving the game with the injury. He had an MRI done and the injury is a grade 1 PCL sprain which should keep him out of action for two to three weeks. This is excellent news because it looked like a possible torn ACL when it happened. The former Clemson star ran for 660 yards and three rushing touchdowns last season in Arizona and also had 395 yards catching out of the backfield and two receiving scores. Running backs Chris Johnson and rookie David Johnson will more than likely share the carries in Ellington's absence. Cardinals RB Andre Ellington has Grade 1 PCL sprain and is estimated to return in 2-3 weeks. (via @JosinaAnderson) pic.twitter.com/p64eVgTxve Thanks for everyone thoughts and prayers!
