is getting his health back after a season-ending sports hernia injury. He could barely practice most of the season with a torn tendon in his left foot and also had hip flexor issues.

"Any injured guy, when they are fully healthy they want to get it started as quickly as possible," Ellington told the Cardinals' official website. "Erase all those memories." Ellington plans to participate in the team's OTAs next month.

Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians says Ellington is about "95 percent healed" right now. "I’m back to normal," Ellington said.

Ellington is ready to prove the doubters wrong about him coming back from the injuries and being a productive player again in the NFL.

"I sure some people (doubt), but that’s kind of good,” Ellington said. "I like that they forgot what I can do. It gives me a chance to show that what I did in the past is still there."

Ellington still ran for a respectable 660 yards (3.3 average) and three touchdowns last season while being hobbled with injuries. He also showed his all around game with 46 catches for 395 yards out of the backfield and two touchdowns.

The Cardinals are considering drafting a running back (Todd Gurley or Melvin Gordon) with the #24th overall pick in next week's NFL draft. Ellington is OK with that decision.

"It's whatever will better our team," Ellington told the team's website. "That's most important. No one is going to hate any decisions. I'm sure those guys will make the best decisions to help the team. We'll accept any guy who comes in."
