Andre Ellington injury update |
Former Clemson running back
Andre Ellington
Andre Ellington Ellington hurt his left hip after getting kneed early in the second quarter and was out for the rest of the game. In the limited action, he had 10 carries for 24 yards. He will miss Wednesday's practice and is questionable for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. According to sportsMD.com, a hip pointer is a contusion on the bone on the brim of the hip. Severe contusions can include hematoma and bleeding. For the season, Ellington has rushed for 660 yards and three touchdowns. If Ellington is a no go, the Cardinals will look to Stepfan Taylor and Marion Grice to carry the load at the running back position.
