Swinney in Top 5 ranking of CFB Coaches

The Sporting News released its latest article recently with their ranking of all 128 FBS college football head coaches for 2016 and Clemson's Dabo Swinney was ranked #4 overall and #2 in the ACC behind only Florida State's Jimbo Fisher.

"Clemson’s remarkable 2015 season shouldn’t come as that big of a surprise," Sporting News stated. "Swinney has won double-digit games in five consecutive seasons and built a strong recruiting base full of NFL talent at Clemson. The defending ACC champions will be right back in the national championship hunt this season. That means more Swinney, and that’s never a bad thing. There’s only one thing keeping Swinney out of the top three [overall] on this list, something those other coaches have."

The order of the rankings for the ACC coaches were Jimbo Fisher, Dabo Swinney, Mark Richt, Larry Fedora, Bobby Petrino, David Cutcliffe, Pat Narduzzi, Justin Fuente, Bronco Mendenhall, Paul Johnson, Dave Doeren, Steve Addazio, Dino Babers, and Dave Clawson.
