FSU coach to Swinney: "Win the whole thing"

by - Assoc. Editor -

The Clemson football team defeated defending ACC Atlantic winners Florida State 23-13 in Death Valley on Saturday afternoon.

The two head coaches met on the field after the game and Fisher was supportive to Swinney and his #1-ranked team that currently carries the ACC banner.

“I said congratulations," Fisher said to Swinney as Clemson fans rushed the field in mass hysteria after winning the ACC Atlantic division. "They have a heck of a team and I hope they go win it all and represent our conference. Clemson is a really good football team, and anytime you have a quarterback like that, you have a chance."

The home team has now won 12 of the last 14 games in the Clemson vs. Florida State series.

Clemson will hit the road next week to visit Syracuse on Saturday, 11/14 at 3:30 pm on ABC/ESPN2.
