WATCH: Swinney on playing Jimbo Fisher again

It's almost time for No. 2 Clemson to face Texas A&M.

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney spoke to ESPN this week about playing against Jimbo Fisher for the ninth time.

"That will be strange. You know, I've known Jimbo (Fisher) a long time and we've had a lot of epic battles, if you will," Swinney said. "I have great respect for the job he did at Florida State. I don't have any doubt that he'll really build a special program there in College Station. But it will be strange."

Swinney thinks it is funny that Fisher left the ACC but they will continue to play each other for at least the next two seasons.

"And you know, I wish he'd -- you know, he had a lot of other schools to choose from, but he chose the one school that just happened to be on our schedule for this year and next year. So, looks like we're going to hook it up a couple more times."

The overall head-to-head record between the two coaches is 4-4 but Swinney has won the last three against Fisher.
