WATCH: Mackensie Alexander nabs interception

Former Clemson defensive back Mackensie Alexander accomplished something Friday night that he never accomplished in his Clemson career - he intercepted a pass.

During the third quarter of Friday's game versus the Cincinnati Bengals, Alexander dropped back in coverage and tipped Keith Wenning's pass. Alexander turned and caught the deflection for his first interception since high school.

Alexander was drafted with the 54th overall pick by the Minnesota Vikings in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He had 52 tackles, four tackles for loss and 12 pass breakups in 1,499 snaps over 27 career games. His lack of interceptions can be attributed to teams not throwing his way.
