WATCH: Gamecock fans throw objects at Clemson players, flip birds |
No. 3 ranked Clemson is about to square off against No. 24 South Carolina in the rivalry game at Williams-Brice Stadium on Saturday night.
Gamecock fans are pretty amped up for the game as they were throwing water bottles and flipping birds to the Clemson players around forty minutes before the start of the contest. Clemson's warmup huddle was moved away from the tunnel due to objects being thrown from the stands. TigerNet's David Hood was actually hit with a water bottle. Update: Dabo Swinney got an unsportsmanlike penalty for arguing about his player's safety after Gamecock fans threw debris onto the field after Renfrow's touchdown catch in the second quarter. Update 2: Gamecock fans are throwing debris at the Clemson players as they head into the tunnel for halftime. Warning: Parental Guidance on the following video
