WATCH: Deshaun Watson makes birthday wish come true for 9-year old |
Deshaun Watson has been superb in his first year with the Houston Texans on the gridiron and making such a positive contribution as a role model off-the-field.
Watson has done numerous things in the Houston community including giving his first game check to three Texans' cafeteria workers, partnering with Ashley Furniture to supply furniture to victims of Hurricane Harvey, and helped with other charitable causes. After the Texan's 33-17 win on Sunday, Watson pointed out to a 9-year old boy in the stands and made sure he got his birthday wish. "Deshaun Watson wanted you to have this for your birthday," the Texans' staffer said to the happy boy. Deshaun Watson is the real deal. Not only did he lead the #Texans to a win over CLE, he made this boys day. @abc13houston @deshaunwatson pic.twitter.com/87kikzu8Jv Watson has 15 touchdown passes which are the most in NFL history by a rookie in his team's 1st six games of the season. He is also the first rookie quarterback to have three passing touchdowns in three straight games. Watson is already 7th place on the Texans' all-time passing touchdown list.
