WATCH: Dabo Swinney sings 'Purple Rain' again

by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney really likes Prince's classic song Purple Rain.

Swinney was asked Thursday at the ACC Kickoff about his first concert experience.

"Prince was my first legit [concert]. PURRRPPPLEEEE Rain," Swinney said. "It doesn't get any better than that. Sheila E and Purple Rain. I actually saw him twice because he came back later on. I was living when 'Party like it was 99' and this was 1980 something at the time. 1999 seemed like a million years away."

Flashback to the annual ACC Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Challenge Golf Tournament as Swinney also gave a shout-out to Prince's Purple Rain.

Thanks, Dabo as I have the song stuck in my head now and I have to watch the following video:

RIP Prince
