WATCH: Clemson locker room celebrates by cutting 'turnover chain' in half |
No. 1 Clemson dominated No. 7 Miami 38-3 in the 2017 ACC Championship game and left no doubt that there was a large separation between the two teams in the ACC hierarchy.
There was a lot of national media attention given to the 'turnover chain' in the week leading up to the pivotal game but the Clemson football team was unfazed by the potential hype jewelry on the sidelines for Miami. Check out a video of Clemson senior defensive back Ryan Carter cutting a Miami turnover chain in half with giant orange cartoon-like scissors in the locker room after Clemson's third straight ACC title. Senior linebacker Dorian O'Daniel and Carter screamed in excitement with their teammates as they showed off the Miami memento. Carter was probably given the honor of cutting up the turnover chain because he had an impressive performance with a crucial interception and a timely forced fumble against the Hurricanes.
