New York Jets kicker Chandler "Cat-man" Catanzaro nailed a game-winning 41-yard field goal in overtime with 28 seconds remaining to beat the Jaguars 23-20.
During the game, Catanzaro accounted for 11 points including 3-for-4 on field goals with a long of 45. For the season, he is 9-for-11 on field goals including 6-for-6 on extra points. In three years with Arizona as the starter, he hit an impressive 84.8% of his field goals and had 140 touchbacks. Back during his rookie year in 2014, Catanzaro made a 43-yard field goal against the Rams, and it tied the NFL record for most field goals to start an NFL career (17) with Kai Forbath. Catanzaro signed a free agent contract with the Arizona Cardinals after the 2014 NFL draft. It was a one-year deal for $420,000. Catanzaro is the all-time leading scorer at Clemson with 404 points. He set Clemson records for PATs made, field goals of 40+ yards (24) and consecutive field goals (20). His career totals were 67 out of 82 field goals and 203 out of 207 extra point attempts. Game.
