by - Staff Writer -

Five former Tigers competed at the NFL combine over the weekend, working to a better position come April's NFL draft (26th-28th in Arlington, Texas).

Dorian O'Daniel was among the standouts, pacing his linebacker group in the 20-yard shuttle (4.07 seconds) and the 3-cone drill (6.64; tied for 2nd-best LB time going back as far as 2006).

He also ranked in the top-10 in broad jump (119 inches, 9th) and just outside the top-10 in the 40-yard dash (4.61, 11th).

Deon Cain was among the fastest receivers, running a 4.43 40 on his second attempt to rank eighth overall. He was fifth in the 3-cone drill (6.71) and 10th in the 60-yard shuttle (11.78).

Ray Ray McCloud cracked the top-half of receivers on hand in vertical leap (34.5 inches) and performed well in receiver drills, such as the gauntlet and deep passes.

Check out clips from O'Daniel, McCloud and Cain, as well as Taylor Hearn and Van Smith below:
