has signed a minor league deal with the Miami Marlins according to Baseball America.

The 29-year old veteran will battle in spring training for a reserve outfielder spot with the Marlins.

Colvin hit .223 with two homeruns in 57 games for the Giants in 2014. In 2012 with the Rockies, Colvin hit .290 with 18 homeruns, 27 doubles, 10 triples and 72 runs in 136 games.

In 2006 with Clemson, Colvin batted .356 with 13 home runs, 70 RBI's and 23 stolen bases.
