Two suspended Auburn players will play vs. Clemson |
No. 5 Clemson will face No. 12 Auburn in a prime time ESPN showdown on Saturday, Sept. 9 and Clemson will face a team that will be hungry to try to prove they are on par with the ACC Tigers.
Guz Malzahn suspended starting running back Kamryn Pettway, sophomore starting receiver Kyle Davis, and backup quarterback Sean White for the 41-7 home win against Georgia Southern. However, both of the playmakers will be back in time for their tough road test against the defending National Champions. "That's completely between me and them," Malzahn said during his postgame press conference on why they were suspended according to AL.com. "Kam Pettway and Kyle Davis will both be back next week. Sean White will be back Week 3." Pettway is a big-time running back in the SEC as he led the entire conference with 122.4 yards per game last season.
