CBSSports.com has released its first round of their 2016 NFL Mock Draft and two Clemson defenders made the list.

Clemson defensive end Shaq Lawson was projected to go at the #9 overall pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars and #16 overall selection to the New York Giants in the two different mock drafts by CBSSport.com analysts.

Lawson has 29 tackles and 5.5 sacks this season.

Mackensie Alexander was predicted to go with the #12 overall pick with the Oakland Raiders and the #19 overall pick with the St. Louis Rams in the two mock drafts.

Alexander has 11 tackles on the season and was praised on Monday as a Thorpe Award Semifinalist.

In seven games, opponents have completed just four passes in 19 attempts at Alexander according to the Clemson SID.
