Travis Etienne makes Clemson history

by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson sophomore running back Travis Etienne made school history against North Carolina State on Saturday afternoon.

His third-quarter rushing touchdown (1-yarder) put Clemson up 31-0 and gave him three rushing touchdowns in three straight games (Syracuse, Wake Forest, NC State) which has never been done by a Clemson running back even by former standout C.J. Spiller.

He is the third ACC player in the past 10 years to have at least three touchdowns in three straight games with James Conner and Tevin Washington.

For the game, Etienne had 15 rushes for 39 yards and three scores.
