QUICK FACTS

Clemson and Purdue will meet for the fifth time in series history Wednesday, and the third time in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The Tigers are 3-1 versus the Boilermakers and 1-1 in the challenge.
Clemson is 9-4 all-time in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge and is the only school in either conference to have five road wins under its belt.
Clemson carries a 4-1 overall record into Wednesday's game and is coming off two wins in three chances in the Old Spice Classic. The Tigers lost to No. 16 Gonzaga 57-49, but rebounded with wins over UTEP (69-48) and Marist (59-44) in Orlando, FL.
Purdue enters Wednesday's tilt with a 2-3 record. The Boilermakers have not played since Nov. 21, when they knocked off UNC Wilmington - one of Brad Brownell's former schools - by a score of 66-40.
Wednesday's game will be the first ever meeting between Clemson Head Coach Brad Brownell and Purdue Head Coach Matt Painter. Both are regarded as two of the top Xs and Os coaches in the game.
Brownell is a native of Evansville, IN and his wife, Paula, graduated from Purdue University.
Clemson has held three opponents to less than 50 points this season, and is now 16-1 under Brownell under that scenario. Clemson's only loss was to Virginia, 49-47, in Brownell's first season, 2010-11.
Clemson has held each of its first five opponents to less than 60 points. That is the longest streak for the Tiger program since the 1997-98 season, when Rick Barnes' final team went five straight between Dec. 17 and Dec. 30.
