Tigers defeat BC for 10th ACC regular season win

by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson concluded the regular season with a 66-50 win at Boston College, where the Tigers handed the Eagles its 18th ACC loss of the season. The win gave Clemson (17-13, 10-8 ACC) its fifth 10-win ACC regular season in program history.

The only other teams to win 10 ACC games in Clemson history were in 1986-87, 1989-90, 2007-08 and 2013-14. The win also snapped a three-game losing streak for the Tigers.

The Tigers had three players in double figures with Jaron Blossomgame (16), Donte Grantham (13), and Avry Holmes (11). Jordan Roper had 9 assists. Boston College was led by Jerome Robinson with 18 points.

Clemson shot 9-24 (39%) from three while the Eagles were held to just 4-21 (19%). Boston College (7-24, 0-18) hit just 1 of its first 18 from beyond the arc.

Clemson will now wait for the results of the rest of the ACC this weekend to determine its seed in the ACC Tournament. The Tigers could finish anywhere from 5th to 8th depending on those contests.
