Clemson coach Dabo Swinney spoke to the media following his team's 61-3 thumping of The Citadel on Saturday afternoon.

Swinney shared during the postgame press conference that injured starters Mitch Hyatt, Tre Lamar, Kendall Joseph, and Dexter Lawrence should be ready to go in the rivalry game next week against the Gamecocks.

"I feel good about those guys. This break has been good for them," Swinney said. I think they will be ready."

Swinney was happy to see senior cornerback Marcus Edmond return to the gridiron against The Citadel.

"It was great to get Marcus (Edmond) in the game. It did my heart good to see him on the field. We will need him down the stretch. He will make some big play along the way."

Swinney also said that Mark Fields and Tanner Muse are getting healthy.

"Mark was very close today," Swinney said. "We are headed in the right direction.

"Muse is getting better and better. He had a different cast on today."
