Swinney responds to Doeren wanting an investigation over a laptop |
North Carolina State head coach Dave Doeren spoke to reporters after Saturday's loss to Clemson and basically begged for an investigation on why Clemson had a laptop on their sidelines during the game.
"I'd like to know why there was a laptop on Clemson's sideline, too," Doeren said. "I'd like that to be investigated. Maybe they weren't doing anything but I was told it was illegal to have technology on the sideline so I would like to know that as well." "A laptop? No, I have no idea," Swinney responded to Doeren during his postgame presser. "Only thing I can tell you is maybe it was somebody on the social media team. It wasn't anybody on the football side." Clemson SID Tim Bourret said he thought that it was a Clemson social media team member. Dabo on laptop: “Ha ha ha.” Clemson SID said it belonged to member of school’s social media team. He had that 85-sec high-quality feature exported/uploaded within 10 min of final whistle. ?? pic.twitter.com/t6ec41ZrQQ From ACC: League satisfied with Clemson explanation of laptop situation. Rules allow it to be there if not used for coaching. Matter closed.
